Mark and James’s Saturday Night Disco Bus

This bus travels every Saturday night of the year between Glasgow, Greenock and Gourock

Departs – the James Watt Bar at 10.00pm

Returns – “Jumpin Jack’s” in Sauchiehall St  01.45 to Greenock  / 03.45 hrs to Gourock
- And under the tunnel in Argyll St. at the back of the Central Station at 02.00 to Greenock / 04.00 hrs to Gourock

Return Fare is a mere £8.00 or £5.00 single.

The bus travels as far as Gourock on the return journey. On busy nights we use 2 buses so no panic! Buses are also licensed for standees so no one is left behind and booking is not necessary.

Buses have onboard CCTV for your comfort and safety. Mark and James pride themselves on getting you home in safety and comfort.

THE MEGA

A few questions & answers,

Q – does a return ticket guarantee a seat on return journey home.

A – We guarantee we will get you home, like the trains its first come first served as far as seats go.

Q – If we make our own way to Glasgow can we get on the bus one way?

A – as long as your not causing trouble or are deemed unsuitable to travel we will get you on a bus as our new MEGARIDER has a licensed for standees.

Q – what about bringing food & drink on the bus?

A – we dont mind food & drink on the way up as long as you respect that we have to clean the bus after you leave, but no food or drink on the way down from Glasgow can be brought onboard.

Q – where does the bus stop on return?

A – any stop on the route all the way down as far as the Pierhead.

Q – does the bus have a toilet?

A – not guaranteed.

‘Above picture of the James Watt Bar in Cathcart street’. The Greenock departure point, which is a great place to meet & greet before your 30min trip to the city – Buy your ticket onboard – Bus will drop you off at the city centre and continue up to Sauchihall street.

‘Above – Pick up point one, every Saturday we depart from Jumping Jaks at 01:45am & 03:45am prompt.

Main pickup point, under the tunnel at central station (the Heilymansumbrella – as you parents would call it!) the buses will pickup here every Saturday at 02:00 & 04:00am prompt!.

All the way down to Gourock Pierhead for a fiver!!!

Above buses are warm comfortable – and have a qualified steward onboard, all we ask is for everyone to respect your fellow passengers,

Note – a Glasgow taxi will cost you in excess of £50…!
