Travel with Harte Buses on our modern, comfortable coaches to Largs via Lochwinnoch and Kilbirnie in approx 45 minutes. Our helpful friendly drivers will ensure that your journey is a pleasant experience. Concession pass holders are welcome on every journey.
Wheelchairs / prams / buggies
You have two options;
1 – Call the office to guarantee your place on one of our accessible buses.
2 – If you are able to negotiate 3 steps, our driver will store your wheelchair or pram underneath and assist you to board.
JOINING UP JOURNEYS
From Braehead there are many connections further afield.
Braehead has a first class connection service to Silverburn (approx. every 10 minutes.)
Glasgow City Centre ( is approximately 15 minutes on the bus from Braehead and there are 4 buses an hour on this route)
Harte Buses operate hourly, on the hour to Greenock.
There are good connections from Braehead to the Southern General Hospital and the Royal Alexandria Hospital in Paisley.
WHY LARGS?
Enjoy a lovely 45 minute drive through spectacular scenery as you look over the river Clyde from the top of Haylie Brae on the way down into Largs town centre. Largs has many fine shops/ bars and cafes to explore.

We have arranged a special deal at the “CLACHAN” simply present your bus ticket and you will receive £1.00 off any main course on their super menu!
Alternatively
Take a10 minute trip on the ferry over to Cumbrae and Millport. The adult return fare is £4.30 (unfortunately there is no concession fare) however your concession pass is valid for the bus transfer from the ferry into Millport where time seems to have stood still.
Another good idea is to take a 10 minute bus journey from Largs to Kelburn Country Park – a great day out for everyone!
Our Largs bound bus can drop you at Lochwinnoch where you may visit thefamous bird sanctuary.
